WHAT DO CHRIST SEE WHEN HE LOOKS AT ME?

Introduction Sometimes I look at myself, and I see my mistakes. I see my fears. I see my past. I see the things I am still struggling with. And I ask myself quietly: “What does Christ see when He looks at me?” Because what I see in myself is not always kind. But I am learning that Christ does not look at me the way I look at myself. He Does Not See My Fear I often feel fear about life. Fear about the future. Fear about whether I am enough. But when Christ looks at me, He does not see fear. He sees someone He is teaching to trust Him. He sees someone He is walking with, step by step. He Does Not See My Past There are things I have gone through that have shaped me. My Journey of Faith: From Fear to Peace For a long time, my life was shaped by fear. Growing up in a violent environment, I was always anxious and worried. Even though my mother was a believer and I grew up in the church, I didn’t have a personal connection with God. I knew about Him, but I didn’t truly know Him. Everything changed in 2016 at a revival service at Parklands Baptist. That day, I stopped trying to act like a “perfect Christian,” and I got real with God. I prayed with total honesty and told Him about my struggles and my anxiety. But what made this moment truly life-changing was understanding the work of Jesus on the cross and how personal it is. In the middle of all the chaos I was carrying inside, there was a moment of stillness. It felt like everything paused, and in that silence, Christ met me.
