A Story of Mercy I found myself unable to sleep, not because of problems, but because since my mother relocated from Kariobangi in May, this is the first time I am visiting her in her new place. This single mabati house housed 6 kids, sometimes 4, since 2011. Now, the reason why I couldn’t sleep was because when I visited, I was expecting she would have decorated it. But I found it in a mess, and when I asked her, she said she doesn’t know what to do with a big house; she was already used to one room.
